Where friends become family

We are always striving to do the best we can for the Master! We understand that our mission as a church is to glorify God by reaching the lost, strengthening the saved, and preparing others to serve the Lord.

As a church, we are committed to ministering to the whole family. We have ministries for children, adults, and seniors. We have some ministries that are local, and some that reach around the globe. All are done with dependence upon God, a desire to evangelize the lost and to strengthen the Lord's people.

School of the Bible

Sundays at 10:00 AM, for children and adults

Every Sunday morning at 10:00, the School of the Bible gathers boys and girls up through sixth grade for an hour that is both helpful and instructive. Through the year, the children's classes rotate through practical, hands-on courses, each one designed to help them grow and mature in the Lord and carry themselves well in the world around them.

Depending on the season, children may be sharpening their reading skills so they can read God's Word for themselves, learning to read music and sing to the glory of God in the children's choir, or practicing the good manners and life skills that serve them well at home, at school, and in public.

At the same hour, adults choose from a selection of Bible studies, each taught by a caring teacher. New courses begin three times a year, so there is always a fresh opportunity to dig deeper into God's Word, from surveys of the Old and New Testaments to practical studies on prayer and the Christian life, and even the hand of God's providence in history.

Whatever your age, there is a class waiting for you. Come early, bring a friend, and join us at 10:00!

King's Kids Club

Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM, kindergarten through 8th grade

Our King's Kids Club, for boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade, provides solid teaching from the Word of God in a fun and lively setting. Each week's lesson centers on a Bible truth that the children can carry into everyday life.

Every meeting is Gospel centered, and our faithful workers have a strong desire to see these children saved and growing in the Lord.

The club meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM.

Children's Church

During the 11:00 AM service, age 3 through 6th grade

Children are a blessing from the Lord, and boys and girls need to learn about Jesus, too! Our Children's Church, for children aged three through sixth grade, provides a warm and nurturing environment where boys and girls are taught the truths of God's Word in an age-appropriate way and encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Children's Church meets during the 11:00 AM worship service, in the church Fellowship Hall.

Nursery

Available in all Sunday and Wednesday services

Our experienced and dedicated nursery workers provide a loving and secure place for little ones, from newborns through age two, while their parents attend the service.

Choir

Sunday mornings and special seasonal programs

The diligent labors of our church choir help to prepare hearts to worship the Lord and receive the preaching of His Word. In addition to singing in nearly every Sunday morning worship service, the choir presents full-length cantatas for special seasons of the year.

Church Orchestra

Several times a year, in special services

Our worship is occasionally enriched by the joyful, vibrant sound of a live church orchestra. Several times a year, dedicated musicians gather to lift their instruments in praise, adding special depth and reverence to select services.

Whether you are interested in playing or simply look forward to these musical celebrations, our orchestra ministry is a wonderful way to experience and glorify God.

Church Bus Ministry

Free rides to both Sunday services

Our church bus ministry is committed to helping boys and girls, teens, and adults worship the Lord, by offering a free ride to church for both Sunday services!

For their safety, children under age five ride only with a parent.

Local Evangelism

Sharing the Gospel in our community

We are always seeking ways to share the Gospel with our community. We provide Gospel tracts as a tool for evangelism, and many of our members are faithful in seeking to win their friends, families, co-workers, and neighbors to the Lord. Our outreach ministries, such as our church bus and nursing home ministries, carry the Gospel beyond the walls of our church building.

It is always exciting to see God bless our labors as souls trust Christ as Savior, follow the Lord in believer's baptism, and begin to grow in their spiritual walk. It is especially thrilling to see those recently won to Christ begin to share their faith and seek to win others to the Lord!

World Missions

More than fifty missionaries and missions endeavors

The challenge of Christ to His church is to take the Gospel into all the world. Since our church members cannot be physically present in every corner of the globe, we are privileged to support God-called missionaries through our prayers and financial giving as they carry the message of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

We currently support more than fifty missionaries and missions endeavors. Each October is our Missions Emphasis Month, and we encourage every member to take part in faith-promise missions giving. Truly, the sun never sets on the ministry of the Bible Baptist Church!

Bearing Precious Seed

Assembling Scripture portions for the mission field

As a Seed-Line Church, we partner with World Missions Bearing Precious Seed in Missouri to produce Scripture portions that missionaries can distribute freely on the foreign field.

Our members give to purchase the materials, and then volunteers gather at the church to assemble copies of the Gospel of John and the book of Romans using our own equipment. When the copies are finished, we deliver them to Bearing Precious Seed, which sends them to missionaries around the world.

Nursing Home Ministry

Monthly services at two local care centers

Our outreach to the Country Club Retirement Campus in Ashtabula and the Geneva Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is centered on ministering Christ's love to people who are often neglected. Through a monthly worship service at each, residents are given opportunities to accept Christ as Savior and to be strengthened in their faith and walk with God.

Adventure Bible Day Camp

Every summer, for boys and girls

Our Adventure Bible Day Camp is a highlight of the church calendar! Each summer, boys and girls spend several fun-filled mornings at the church, hearing Bible lessons, singing, playing games, and making new friends. The church bus offers free rides, so children can come from all over the area.

At the heart of every camp is the desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many children have trusted Christ as their Savior through this vital ministry.
